I know she is going to love it as much as I did. I will definitely be purchasing book two of the trilogy when it is published next year. Peanut's amazing pencil draws her into an exciting but dangerous new world. As you would expect there are stunning illustrations throughout which make it such a fun book to read.

I loved this heart warming story I was immediately drawn in (no pun intended! )I cannot wait to share this with my daughter in a year or so. The links to real life artists was also fab (and there is even a glossary at the end of the book with more information.

The story is also extremely creative and I loved the Illustrated City which was brought to life through the fantastic pictures. I loved all the details of the story which really capture the bond between Peanut and her dad like the little pictures that her dad used to leave in her lunch box every day. Peanut loves drawing though and by chance she accidentally uncovers a magical pencil where the things she draws come to life.
