Truly impressed from the very first page. It's a lovely book to read even though it's often sad.

Highly recommended. The world created is simply sublime and the prose flows so naturally from page to page that you can't help but become immersed in the story. The design and illustrations are wonderful. Those fantastic unique illustrations, the colour scheme and the overall presentation of this book complemented the story perfectly.

A tender storyline and one handled so well throughout by its author, Julia and the Shark is an absolute delight, regardless of your age! The story is orientated around remote island life, exploration and carries an environmental backdrop.

This is a book about love, friendship and sharks! Just the book itself looks beautiful enough for 5 stars. I really enjoyed it and will no doubt read it again.
This book is breathtaking. I love the family dynamics of Julia and her family and just found everything fitted together so well from beginning to end.
