The secret is to make one choice that is the springboard for all others. Even if I don’t stick with Ableton, this is a great pressure sensitive pad controller that can give u a different way to input notes / chords than a keyboard - for “arpy” and surreal synths Iran amazing!

If you are getting started in music production you can get overwhelmed with choices that can lead you down many rabbit holes. Tho I have a BeatStepPro as an external midi/cv sequencer so didn’t need the redundancy. I was very happy about it but now I have to return it.

I hope the same thing does not happen to the second one I bought, as on Black Friday day I decided to buy another one for myself. Excellent product to enter the world of lauchpad, light and thin, with a simple design, the buttons are made of silicone so they are very beautiful to the touch, thanks to the different programs you can decide color and type effect for each key. The user manual actually gives you a good overview or Ableton itself as 1/2 of this tablets function is the “session view” of Ableton.

Quite simply an incredible piece of equipment that can be made to work as the centre of your music creation. I didn’t think a grid would be effective for controlling the mixer but it’s decent!
