The quality is great, it feels sturdy and it changes shapes really easily, so this can work for smaller kids as well even though the box says 6+ years. I think it can be a very unique and thoughtful gift for a little one. I’m not sure how long they’ll last though as the children 4 & 8 did try to force them ways they shouldn’t go so probably more suited to adults or older children. My grandchildren love these and played with them for ages.

What's badLike any puzzle of this ilk it's slightly limited and you'll need to inform your child that they can't force twist or turn shapes where they aren't intended to go. The little puzzles come in a plain white box with a coloured printed sleeve. Recommended

A set of 3 colourful puzzle cubes, covered in animals, plants and sea creatures. They seem to be made of plastic with printed shiny picture stickers on the surfaces.

Due to the magnetic fixtures and more complex shapes I'd doubt that it would take too much punishment to achieve damage to product should they decide to ignore this advice, although this is not to say it's flimsy, it isn't. Most are fitted with magnets that make a satisfying click in the differing positions. Regardless of the pics this is more of a shape shifting puzzle than a puzzle shifting shape, erm shape puzzle shifting.
