About this deal
Black Bush
Black Bush is truly a legend among whiskeys, the result of dedicated care and craftsmanship perfected over the centuries. Bushmills Black Bush Irish Whiskey combines a high amount of malt whiskey matured in former Oloroso Sherry casks, with a sweet, batch-distilled grain whiskey. Rich & smooth. It’s best enjoyed neat, or over ice. Combining our single malt whiskey and a lighter grain whiskey, you’ll notice its rich, smooth warming taste almost instantly, just as generations have done before. Malt whiskey that becomes Black Bush is aged up to eleven years in selection sherry-seasoned oak casks before being blended with a small portion of a special single grain whiskey, full bodied aromas with spicy, malty and nutty sweet sherry notes. An approachable whiskey which has been matured in both bourbon and sherry casks resulting in fresh fruit and vanilla notes. Ireland's oldest whiskey distillery.

A present for my son. Great Irish whisky coming in original box, unfortunately not the newest.

I cannot recommend this enough! It is easy to drink, very smooth.

Great price too! This is thankfully the newer bottled version.

I like Penderyn, the welsh whisky. Priced competitively. I was always a Scotch man until a visit years ago to NI where I was offered a Bushmills as soon as I walked into the Bar. I like Bushmills.

I've not tried a huge number of different whiskies - although I have tried a few - and I certainly know what I don't like. I also know what I do like. The malts are lovely, but black bush is, in my mind at least, uniquely satisfying.

It has a smoothness and mellowness that allows for drinking neat. I'll start by saying that I'm not a massive whisky drinker. In comparison, white label tastes a little thin - nice until you've tried the other variants.

The whiskey is in excellent condition I've been drinking Bushmills for a while and I can only recommend it is great. Finish: Crisp, fresh finish, with a touch of spice" they said it - I just poached it. So he was happy to let me have a taste. I've tried several of the Bushmills whiskeys - white label, black bush, 10 year old malt, 16 year old malt & 400 year anniversary - of all of these, black bush is my favourite.
