There are also some minor differences from the movie. You also get an idea of the font (if that's important to you) and just how wordy it is.

The illustrations are really beautiful. Now her daughter will also have them as books for her bookshelf. We haven't started watching movies yet with our 2 year old but I still wanted to introduce her to some of the Disney stories, especially the ones with strong female leads. She loves listening to us read it to her and had no problems sitting through the whole thing.

Used for center piece at my sisters Disney themed baby shower and they worked perfect! I've attached some images of some of the two pages illustration spreads but they aren't all like this. Overall, we're happy to have this in our library. It's fine.

The book covers the Moana story in major detail. It's a really nice little book. It came in new condition with 23 pages, thick cardboard cover, and colorful pictures. It makes a perfect bedtime reading for us!

The graphics are lovely. This is perfect for that. So, my opinion might differ.

She's actually pretty fascinated with some of the new words/names she's hearing, like Moana, wayfinder and Te Ka. ) This book is a great short version of retelling of the movie “Moana” just with main idea and without many details, but long enough to keep toddlers interested. As an adult, I love the illustrations here and would buy it again just for that but I do find the story a little clunky.
