Lachlan Kite is a superb additon to the world of modern espionage. Cumming evokes a detailed and multi layered world of espionage, draws powerful characters and a dense atmosphere. This is a tense read with superb storytelling. Kite has managed to escape the clutches of Russia before.

Nail biting! This story in interspersed with present day and the toxic deaths of some former spies. This is a fast paced and thrilling read spanning dual timelines of 1990s and 2020.

The mission goes awry and he is stranded. In 1993, a student, Lachlan Kite is employed as a spy and sent as an undercover teacher to Russia by secret intelligence agency Box 88.
