This Makita portable lamp is very well designed and very sturdy. The bottom doesn't have a star printed like drills etc do, but neither does a work mates of mine and he bought his from a wholesaler years ago. The lamp is very sturdy, it is not afraid of shocks. You no longer have to worry about the light getting weaker and you can put them in all imaginable positions for glare-free work.

It was then a god send by keeping a cellar lit whilst doing a consumer unit change the next day. It has several levels of light intensity but given its immense autonomy, I use it all the time in the strongest position.
