And check it is'nt going to rain for the next 12 hours. Another photo shows the fence during painting , this looks like a chocolate colour compared to when it dries.

The photographs show a before, during and after picture. Applied one coat of forest oak over an already brown but aged fence. I really like the colour!

But buy a good quality fence sprayer. Be generous but not so it's dripping down your fence.

And you could spray it on. Overall I am happy with the outcome. The secret is to pick a dry day approx 11 - 15 degrees.
The before photo shows how the fence looked after applying an algae killer prior to painting, the white marks show where the green algae used to be ( I would recommend that you do this a few days before painting to ensure all algae is removed) . Only time will tell if it will last the 5 years as per the guarantee.
