I had to see where it was going. We also follow Carly, a shy and anxious freshman. Scarlett Clark is such a bad ass! The connection of these characters are a mystery until the end, and even though the murderer was not a secret, I was still at the edge of my seat until the last page!

I’m not sure about the ending, but that doesn’t and hasn’t stopped me from enjoying the novel. I was drawn to the vigilante killing in a story: the motives, intentions, feelings, intentions, and goals behind the deed. This novel tackles sexual assault in a very honest way and even though there are dark elements, because the truth is dark, there’s plenty of snarky humor for balance.

That desire to continue on didn’t falter. 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯 has all the ingredients necessary for a perfect thriller, and it is nearly that.
