The floor vacuum is very top heavy with the battery and the dust compartment so it doesn’t stand up on its own, however, with just the push of a button it folds over which makes it stable and compact for storage. There's a button on the hoover so you can fold it up for storage and so it stands up on its own. The Anti Hair Wrap Plus technology is a blessing, especially for those who have experienced the hassle of tangled hair in vacuum cleaners.
