As a piece of fiction, you could almost mistake it for being real because of it's accurate historical portrayal of life in the Stone Age. I would say this book is mainly for children aged 7 and 8. The boy was amazed by their lifestyle and wanted to join in - he was even taken on an successful hunt! Afterwards, the boy and Om explored a cave.

This is a brilliant book by Satoshi Kitamura. He met a girl, named Om, who took him to meet her family in their settlement.

However, children of all ages would be able to read it and find enjoyment in its incredible tale of Stone Age fun. When he woke up, he founds himself transported back in time to the mighty Stone Age! Nice story that teaches you about the stone age.

Yes of course I would! Would I recommend this book?

In the book, a boy (who is not named) fell down a hole whilst walking in the dingy woods. I won't ruin the story, so all I'll say is that trouble ensues!

Whether you are a parent, teacher or a child urging for new reading material, this book would fulfil your needs! But a history teachers perfect story book.

Bare in mind it's not cave men in animal skins, it's later in the timeline.
