I did the keratin straightening on my own today and I have a bob and bangs. I have lots and lots of them.

The best straightening I've ever done in my whole life (45 years 😂) (including at the hairdresser! They are not perfectly smooth but this may also be due to the fact that I did it myself and maybe in some places I didn't apply it well.

Once done, you have to wait 5 minutes because the hair must return to a normal temperature. With my length and quantity, I can still do it once because you don't need to put an exaggerated amount of product, also because it then comes off when you pass the comb. I had keratin done at the hairdresser 9 months ago.

I read that it could get my hair dirty, I can't say it yet but I wash it twice a week at most. Finally, I don't recommend using braids or other accessories for the next few days, as the hair can still change shape. Basically, I have curly hair 3b and after chemotherapy I think it has become even curlier from what I could see from the regrowth I had in recent months.
