Reviews

JTriplett

I really enjoyed the first one called X, so this was extra delightful prequel! now we'll see where this trilogy ends with the future 'Maxxxine'. Written, produced and starring Mia Goth, the new Scream Queen and muse of writer, producer and director Ti West, we have a little film that had potential but was half done, or at least that's how I felt it; besides, the trailer gives a wrong idea of the frenzy it promises to be.

worked great Blu-ray picture looks good in HD.

SDX

Coming after X -which was a strange thriller with slasher tints-, comes Pearl, the prequel to X. Pearl is a horror thriller and a prequel to the movie "X" (2022) Also directed by Ti West, Mia Goth revives her role as Pearl (she was an old woman in X with make-up effects) a lonely girl wanting more in her life pushed over the edge by her mother, a great story set back on the original farm set from "X" showing how she began her life as a psychotic farm girl. Running time 102mins.
