Mr B.
I did lots of research and settled on this one. Given that the faux-furr option was on sale for just 5 quid more than the herringbone I decided to go for that instead. Prior to this I had the herringbone grey blanket, which was also what I'd call top tier. The internal heating cables are barely noticable, sure its slightly more stiff than a normal blanket but it's flexible and comfortable & heats up quickly and has more than enough range to be too hot even for lovers of warmth.

Pictured: The fur ball produced by vacuuming it. Living in an old house with stone walls I do feel the cold especially when working from home. Absolutely over the moon with it and wish I'd bought one sooner. Works like a dream and looks gorgeous.

It's a lovely colour, great size, very thick and warm even without the heating elements on. Seemed a lot of money to shell out however in my opinion its worth the investment. One thing I will say is, if you have pets/pet hair then maybe the Herringbone model is the better choice as you can run over it with a lint roller, this furr is going to be a nightmare to rid of pet hairs & the cream lining on the inside is another potential dirt magnet, and really you get this heated up and even your neighbours pets will be knocking on the door for a cuddle.

I chose to buy it from the manufacturer (Imetec) for only a little more than the cheapest seller so that I knew I was getting the correct item and guarantee. The inside material is nice and soft and with the fur outer has a nice look to it. Top quality, lots of features.

Been thinking about getting a heated throw for ages. I spent allot of time reading reviews for many heated throws on amazon and many of them seem to suffer from QA issues with faulty products and inconsistent heating.

I have not washed this yet so im unable to comment on that. Product review:This throw is much thicker than the other one, the top side has a good layer of fur but the bottom side is thin fabric that you can feel the wires through. So, after a lot of back and forth we decided it was just so good good despite the expense (which has gone up! The cable plugs into the left side and isn't super long, so you might need a extension cord.

In hindsight, I'd probably have gone herringbone again for that reason but I'm not going to slate the furr at all, it's bloomin' lovely! The heated throw market seems to be a real minefield. Hope it works forever 😍
