It's compatible with the 1. Hesitated to buy this, even though I needed a long tele. Need a bit more reach? Fast and easy to use and love the hood lense.

Go. Consequently I have accrued dozens of lenses from various manufacturers.

Wow! Since it's a combination with the OM-1, image stabilization is also very effective, and it's so easy to handle that you wouldn't think it's a telephoto lens.

II) but it's frontheavy when I put it on my smaller camera (Panasonic GX80). This is fun.

1 pen F distance about 40 meters “white wagtail” trimming. 5 meters with the same lens. Much prefer fixed focals, coming from the old Zuiko line of the 80's. With the coming of the OM1 I am back with Olympus and didn't hesitate to buy this lens once again.

2, 1/320 sec, ISO 8000, 82mm. It's rather compact like that, considering the long focal length and the constant f/2. And the macro side of the lens is very sweet. I've attached a photo in two versions: shot raw (post-processed with Raw Therapee) and jpeg right out of the camera (slightly underexposed): f/3.
