The only warning to keep in mind and that despite the questions asked about this product on Amazon, I have not had a technical answer if we can say so, is that it is necessary to have an adequate GROUNDING of the device, which means, for example, that you do not have to wear insulating shoes or be on a ladder (the problem can also be solved by placing your hand on the wall (see photo), in these cases, detecting electrical cables will be difficult. ?

The belt loop on the rear is very sturdy and also has velcro, so you can open it to put around a belt or strap. Out of curiosity I scanned my cats for their implanted ID chips using the metal mode and it found it on one cat but not the other. The device itself has three modes: drywall, metal and power.

The selection is shown by a green light. It is well made and has an excellent case, very convenient, but I would like to recommend it halfway through, because it is indicative, as I believe, all products of this kind. Whilst detecting, you need to do a few passes, at least three times, over the area you’re checking to get an accurate indication of where you want to place your centre mark. Like many times I do, I have browsed Amazon reviews for products I buy and I almost didn't buy it because many reviewers spoke ill of Bosch, but despite this, convinced of the quality of the brand, I took it!

It's easy enough to use but it's essential to read the manual to get the best out of it. If nothing is visible, the ring at the top glows green. I have been using the Bosch green stud finder; and left a trail of holes in the wrong place.
Electronic man
However, the battery had been left connected inside the unit and the disposable marker pen was dried out (see photo) and useless. Reading the instructions; and experimenting in your own home repays the investment of time.
