The color is black and not a glossy wooden mahogany as shown in the picture. I decided to purchase this for him for christmas. But mostly, it makes a very good decoration!

The reason I'm docking a star is for the stopper. It looks beautiful. When it comes to washing glass, it'd be best to hand wash and soak in soap and water.

There were a few very tiny marks on the wood of the decanter holder but they were barely noticeable. The product had a few small and very minor nicks or scratches on the wood panel as well as the glass cup. Just used a bottle spout. By far a great purchase.

Be very careful when handling the lid cause the paint is easy to chip off. All n all, I love it and recommend it.

Would definitely buy something like this again for other people in our lives, it makes a nice gift and looks beautiful on display. 5 stars would be perfect but it is not. It’s a bit smaller than it actually looks in the picture. the decanter itself was easy to fill and it is moveable while on the display.

Such an amazing gift, my boyfriend loves it! It's very handsome. I told him I had been eyeing this for 2 years and finally decided I wanted it now and he questioned me as to why I waited so long.
