The box has a dent on the top that I imagine could have been avoided if protective bubblewrap/cardboard was around it. With this stunning box set, you can hear a band that had LPs such as Please Please Me, singles such as She Loves You and I Want To Hold Your Hand, progress into an experimentation/psychedelic phase with legendary albums such as Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour, then back to basics with the White Album, and closing off their career with Abbey Road and Let It Be - all just in eight years. I'm just glad that all 16 discs are in good playable condition. I highly recommend.

What a difference from my old record collection. The outer box is reasonably attractive, but could have been a little sturdier.

Well, to my amusement, I received the US pressing. There are 14 albums of which 2 are double albums (The Beatles “The White Album” and Past Masters), for a total of 16 CDs and a DVD. Lots of info about that online. Pretty expensive.

It turned out fine by the way. Collectively, this box set comprises of everything that the Beatles officially released from 1963 to 1970.

First thing, the packaging is great. Songs done in the early sixties on two tracks, instruments to the left, vocals to the right, and it sounds amazing. ! Fantastic The Beatles product.

Lots to read, tons of pictures. I just received my Beatles box and what a joy it is. When I put on the first disc (I went chronologically through them all) I was blown away right from the first track.
