Set the grinder on grind size 14 for 5 seconds grinding time. I now get the best expresso I ever was able to get at home. Added some pictures to illustrate the review.

ie=UTF8&qid=1508157437&sr=8-1&keywords=sical+1kg). If I use the 2 shot filter then just press the grind timer twice. Now everybody told me you need to get a grinder because pre-ground coffee sucks and if you want to take your coffee to the next level grinding fresh is the way to do it . Perfect!

Fresh ground coffee, precision quantity and grind size. Will test with other coffees like Buondi which (when bought as ground coffee) I wasn't able to use as the grind is to fine.

To start with I wanted a black one but the only one I could find was more than double the price so it had to be silver, I found it easy to set up as I had already had done it with the Coffee Machine, it is just a case of setting your grind by rotating the collar under the hopper, more finer adjustment can be set by adjusting the burrs inside the hopper, then choosing a time on the timer knob, I went for a fine grind and 15 secs on the timer to start and I only really needed to add another second to fill the porta filler with the correct amount, a little guide tool is included and hidden inside the grind spill tray, once your tamped coffee level is set you should not have to use it again, the one thing I was worried about prior to purchasing this was the cradle that holds the porta filler as the machine I am using has a full sized one where as Sage is much smaller, but they covered a few different sizes by supplying an alternative cradle. Doh well that was a waste of money! It delivers 6g of coffee powder.

Sleeps automatically and also has pause function during grind. co. So all in all it’s a great little grinder - recommended. 5 secs!

Ran a shot and took over 40 secs! Not much of a problem if you don’t change it much but if you’re using the grinder for different coffee machines that need a different grind then this could be an issue.
