It's now my favorite movie of all time & was glad to share it with others this past holiday season. Came in undamaged and was a great movie if you loved the original Top Gun! Even though the original is iconic in it's own right, it would be difficult not to acknowledge that it was a victim of it's time. That's almost impossible to do, especially in our heavily accommodating & agenda driven media culture.

I will watch it again and again Aviation enthusiasts would be pleased to know that where FX & edits were made are wholly genuine to the real world. Movie appears in good shape.

I saw some reviews that said the dvd did not work but I gave it a try and glad I did! It's not just a movie, it's an experience. Excellent movie, almost as good as the first! This was one of the best sequel movies I ever seen.

'Maverick', on the other hand, is done in a way where it's timeless. Other races & genders are included, but it's not directly acknowledged & driven by the story; They are all Navy Aviators, in the very same danger. I assure you, I'm not crazy; This movie really IS that GOOD.
