One thing I noticed with the Bosch though is if you get the hot glue on your hands it burns much more than with the cheaper guns. In my view, families with kids simply can't do without this glue gun; Almost every night there is either a craft project or a broken toy that begs for the glue-treatment. So give the price and the significant better quality of the gun compared to the 10 pound basic types - that drip and with which I've burned my fingers often in the past - I still think its a good deal if its lasts 4 years. The longer tip is fabulous.

I bought 50 sticks from toolstation for £5 and they claimed to be 12mm but worked fine. that is after 4 years of heavy use. Thanks for reading my review.

Also used with the Bosch glue sticks for glue blocks for turning. This is the cordless version .

Used to dress these little guys with their faux fur beards, much easier than super glue. If left plugged for some time it starts to heat the body and starts leaking in the back. Fantastic glue gun for building RC model aeroplanes. I like this product !

It does take a little longer to warm up but that could be because it uses thicker glue sticks. Basic, but reliable so far. So yes, perhaps there is a durability issue.

I’ve never owned a glue gun before so I can’t compare this to others. This means your have slightly more time to position things before it sets. There are a few confusing reviews on here and I think the two products reviews have been mixed upI use mine allot for model railway building and circuitry and it’s perfect Would definitely recommend.

I've just got one of these after using a cheaper Stanley glue gun for some years. Nice smooth trigger action and unlike my discount store cheapo guns doesn't need two hands to squeeze the glue out, but doesn't "dribble" hot glue out of the nozzle when on the stand. I love this glue gun.
