Great Christmas gift. There's lots of space on the page too, with line breaks between paragraphs and key phrases bolded, making it really easy to follow. Nice little hardback book filled with lots of interesting facts about football, the origins of the game and notable players.

g. So this instead of reading the negativity of football in the press all the time. The writing style is very clear, and perfect for the intended audience of kids aged 8-12. This is a hardback book currently priced at £7.

Would make a good stocking filler for Christmas. Good quality, nice content. The book is full of stories that will keep you entertained even if you are not into football, so, overall, a winner. When the news is full of ridiculously highly paid stars having strops like a toddler, and that racism is on the rise in fans, this book goes a long way to reminding you that 'the beautiful game' can be just that, and also an agent for change.

I think this is one of those books that are intended as a binding opportunity for a parent and their child. Really good book filled with so much football facts that you never though you would ever know.

This book shows the positive power that football holds. Nice quality.
