I don’t know is why this is happening. The media could not be loaded. Once, I had to vacuum this area out in order to fully reinsert the tray. Machine worth every penny, in convenience, flavor, it's quiet enough, energy saving qualities, and esthetic.

Although the reviews are true that the coffee is not extremely hot, I find that I can drink an eight ounce cup before it cools. This machine offers the amazing Jura coffee taste, at a smaller footprint and price for home use.

I do notice when I pull the tray out for cleaning some dry, unused grounds piled up at the rear of the tray. )The first thing I did was to adjust from the factory setting to a full eight ounce cup of standard coffee.

Perhaps I use more water because of the eight ounce cups I am brewing. I was very hesitant to buy due to the mixed reviews of the machines in this series, but I am glad that I finally made the purchase. I look forward to trying Christmas blends soon.

I tried the Starbucks House Blend, but found it too strong in this machine. (I have not bothered to adjust the grind from the factory setting. I would say the only disadvantage is the smaller size water reservoir, and it’s location on the back near the electrical outlet. This is my standard morning and post meal cup.

The adjustment process is not super clear due to the lack of a display on this machine, but it did work according to the instruction manual. With work from home and no travel during the pandemic, I finally treated myself to this Jura coffee machine.
