They were such amazing friends and had a great connection, and of course a lot of very hot sexual chemistry. The story is basically a bar tender name Hallie and Jake Marshall the architect had one night stand. This book had steam but wasn’t in your face which is definitely something I much prefer these days.

She’s very true to herself; about pretty much everything accept her feelings for Jack, and she was such a pleasure to get to know. I loved the storyline, I thought it was fun and something a little different and of course I can never have too much fake dating, it’s seriously a great trope. The dark romance, ya and fantasy has been taking over my life so it was nice to take a step back and dive into a romcom to relax!
