Obviously the quality of the production should not affect the score however, in this case the publishing unit needs to know this type of shoddy practice is not acceptable. Secondly, Calchas prophesised that Iphigenia (Agamemnon's fairest daughter) must be sacrificed to Artemis, to end the ill winds keeping the fleet at anchorage.

A match made in Olympus! I particularly enjoyed Troy for it's unexpected humour! Such an amazing improvement and so happy! However!

I have absolutely no idea how this could have happened. I've only had the book today but the contents are great and just as good as the previous books! On topic, the book is fantastic. Calchas' predictions (or rather, Agamemnon's reactions to his predictions) were particularly giggle inducing!

Simply, Excellent! I knew little of Achille's before reading Troy, and found the stories enlightening. Just like the last two books, I couldn’t recommend anything better than this trilogy to a beginner who wants to get into Greek myth. Looks and feels great under the dust cover as well

I would happily read more of his mythology books if he is so inclined to continue the series. Love it! All told, I think the tales of Achilles were my favourite sections of the book. Firstly, Calchas prophesised that the Trojan War would be fought for over 10 years; Not something Agamemnon - As king, and leader of the Achaean army - wanted to hear.

Fry did a brilliant job (of course). ! Mr. I was nervous to order this book after the reviews but I’m so glad I have, they’ve changed the cover so it now has a dust cover and matches the other books.

Thirdly, it transpired that in order to end the pestilence set upon the Achaean camp by Apollo, Agememnon must ransom the kidnapped Chryseis, whom Agememnon deemed to be his possession. The condition of this book isn’t great looks more like a used book than a new book, there also appears to be pages missing as shown in the photos above. It drives me crazy. Agamemnon dubbed Calchas "The Prophet of Evil," and with good reason too.
