With that being said, sweat doesn't cause any issues with them falling off, either. So I've been trying these dots out - 1 on each arm, with different sunscreens (chemical and mineral) on each arm, on different days (sunny, cloudy). The dye on the sticker is solar activated. quite the opposite, actually.

As soon as you step into the sun it turns purple. If the spot doesn't turn completely transparent, you need more sunscreen. Love this.

These are easy to apply if you do it the way the instructions say. Ignore the fact that I can't evenly apply sunscreen and burned anyway, it's not the dots fault.
