As to whether I would recommend this drive -- the answer is conditional. I'm not a fan of Seagate because I've always found the company's disks very fragile. Very competitive price at 115 euros (best offer on idealo. Fingers crossed.
The Good Doctor
No effort to leave with a neighbour. Looking at the Benchmarks in comparison, the IronWolf has a write speed of 176. Nothing to say about the quality of the product, about the packaging it leaves much to be desired, considering the transport you cannot pack Hard Disk like this, and send it in an envelope.

You could have just wrapped the Seagate in bubble wrap and everything would be fine. I am also very satisfied with the temperatures in idle at 22 degrees and under load during prolonged continuous work at 34 degrees.
SALOU
Very quiet, perfect for Backups. Amazon’s great price and a 3 year Seagate warranty were nice too. Suitable as a living room data grave only to a limited extent.

There is clearly written on the data sheet. In any case, I read some good reviews about this model and decided to buy it to save my (raw) photos from about 30 megabytes each.

I'm surprised they were okay. No buzzer or knock at the door.

Small drop of defense: The hard drive is relatively noisy. According to Seagate, these problems should not be present with the 4TB disks. Both disks Raid1 (thick volume) run quietly in the NAS, a very minimal rattle can be heard from time to time, nothing else. These drives, in this configuration with thunderbolt 3 connectivity, are almost as fast read speeds as my internal hard drive.
