Product Story
Age: 5-8 Slow down long enough to watch a bee pollinate a flower, a butterfly emerge from a chrysalis and bluebells carpet a woodland floor. Danny Dorling uses compelling visualizations to illustrate how fertility rates, growth in GDP per person, and even the frequency of new social movements have all steadily declined over the last few generations. Zoom in to watch a hummingbird drink nectar; watch a pea shoot appear; see a little snail as he comes come out to drink.

This book was on the reading list of first year at UCL Bartlett Architecture but made me curious to read it too. Launching it in the middle of the lockdown of the COVID19 is also another proof this is a very current topic.
It is amazing! I would definitely recommend it if you like the Bill Bryson style writting -- Dorling is doing a marvelous job talking about why we like it or not we are in the middle of a Slowdown global effect.
