I dyed a pair of micro suede boots from taupe to black. (I used a wooden spoon that I always use for “crafty” projects. I did this under a water hose outside over the grass.

I'm impressed! The finished product turned out better than expected, but my expectations were already low!

But I decided it was worth a shot, and boy did this dye deliver! Wear a mask if you’re sensitive. Was matching the shirt on top and it was closed enough and so pleased

I will say that the dye has a chemical smell and seems pretty toxic, but that's the trade off for dying polyester. Because I let it boil, there was some shrinkage that I expected.
I read every review here and was skeptical about getting my 100% polyester peach chiffon dress to dye a solid black. So I had to write a review of my own because without all of yours, I may not have had such positive results. (Duh! After 45 minutes of boiling it was a consistent black.
