I wasn't sure at first but as I read the book, I found myself intrigued with the story line. You slowly learn of some things in Talon's past that makes him guarded, but he also has a hard time staying away from Jade.

But read the warning, because it does get heavy and uncomfortable at the end with the flashbacks. You know there is something between them, but neither want to admit to it. Their chemistry is undeniable, even though they are both too stubborn to admit to it. The story of Jade and Talon has you on edge from the first time they meet.

Talon is differently interesting. This is a great story and only leaves you wanting more. I could not put it down until I finished it and then I had to buy the next book ASAP. This is the first book I ready by Helen and let me tell you it will not be the last!
