The first butt was faulty. It’s a good performance per price. Everybody note - check in the first 30 days that it is okay. The butt arrived well packed, easy to set up and linked to a previous water butt that was in situ.

When delivered, the bin still has 2 large dents, but they have disappeared due to the water pressure. I ended up bolting the three peices together in order to form a steady support. The base is the problem. It is easy to assemble and of sturdy construction.

I bought the water butt to collect rain water for my garden I also got some guttering round my shed +have the drain pipe run into the butt aswell when I fitted the hole thing WE had HEAT WAVE then the DOWN POOR AND NOW ITS FULL UP AS YOU CAN SEE IN the PHOTOS . Just waiting for it to rain now There's a slight leak from the tap which only became obvious once the butt was full.

The size of the rain barrel is perfect for us. I suppose time will tell if it is a bargain or not but so far so good. Decided to go with this water butt mainly because of the price, I beleive you can spend more and get the exact same quality. I positioned where I already had a diverter fitted from a previous water butt which had broken and it seems to be a perfect replacement.

The second replacement looks good. Tap broken.

A drill, 26mm drill bit (I used a 25mm which was fine) and a hacksaw are required to complete the installation - which didn't take very long. Great size, lightweight and easy to install.
