However I found a russel hobbs sticker which advised that this is due to their quality testing and its perfectly fine. The iron isn’t too heavy and has a very powerful steam function. A really good iron with a smooth black soleplate that glides effortlessly over clothes.

One of the advantages is it has a self cleaning feature which hopefully means no more tedious descaling, I haven't had it long enough to test it out but, I will report back when I have. It tends to tangle quite easily and isn’t very flexible. It is of a fairly good weight, but not too heavy, and feels good to hold with its soft touch handle. Its the diamond elite being russell hobbs most powerful iron with 3100 watts of power.
