I personally bought this to solve a problem we have with condensation around our patio door which was making the carpet damp, and this is a perfect solution for that. The humidity level has dropped drastically and is now within the reasonably expected range of 40-50%. My laundry was dry very quickly . There is even a separate hose provided which you can attach if you want to drain the water directly to a drain point, though in our case, this was not necessary.
