BUT. .
they started falling apart at both of the soles on the edges and the fabric started to slowly tear at one of the seams on the left side of one of the shoes (I used a shoe glue to keep the fabric from further fraying) . You would think with both the cost and the fact that Salomon had a pretty solid reputation the shoes would last more than 3 -4 months before they started falling apart.
In conclusion I would buy them again,BUT maybe I would think twice and consider other options. Complete transparency: I absolutely love these shoes. They're super comfortable with wearing them all day long(they fit true to size), they can traverse any type of terrain(wet, mud, sand, dirt,ice), and they look awesome.
Hope this helps any other potential buyers on the fence. Just my honest opinion.
