. I haven't noticed any difference in terms of side effects with this higher strength, and obviously it will work better to reduce mild anaemia at a larger dose. Update: so far, so good. It's a bit tricky to write a comprehensive review for something like this which really needs a few months to feel the full effect, but I will come back to this and add more details when I can.

I have been taking Active Iron for over a year now and it genuinely is superior to other iron supplements in terms of absorption and lack of side effects. Have just started these, early days atm, will update review in a week or so, all positive at the moment But the pills are quite small enough and so they are easy to swallow. I note that with this formulation they have changed the strength of the iron supplement - my previous packets have all been 14mg, which is the recommended daily amount, this version is 17mg which is 121% of the RDA.

I haven't had any side affects with the B or the Iron. This 'Active Iron & B-Complex Plus for Women 30 Iron Tablets & 30 Vitamin B Tablets | Iron Supplement with Vitamin B Complex Formula | Non-Constipating Absorption | Scientifically-Tested | 1-Month Supply' is a box containing a month's supply of daily supplements of iron and a vitamin B complex. I imagine that if you did struggle with the iron, you can take the vitaminB on its own. They’re easy to take.

Huge packaging! Two days in i was up a ladder taking all my curtains down and washing all my windows. The B vitamin is disgusting though, it tastes like rotten eggs.

As I say I will add to this in a few weeks. The vitamin B tablets are a carefully-balanced strength to optimise energy levels, but without being overly high (while B vitamins are water-soluble and excess levels will be excreted by the body, there are known ill-effects on the nerves from overly high intake of some of them). Great supplement, and good value pack.
