I follow Sarah Turner aka The Unmumsy mum on the socials and have followed her journey as a mother. Beth was absolutely wonderful throughout, she made me laugh and she also made me just want to give her a great big hug. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It was impossible not to!

The heart wrenching storyline was almost too much, but the IYKYK mum-humour kept me going and I basically laugh-cried through the entire thing. PS. The ending leaves a lot to your own imagination and leaves it open perfectly for a sequel (which I NEED RIGHT NOW PLEASE SARAH! And let’s be honest, I still forget which bloody bin to put out each week!

It’s one of the best books I’ve read in a long time, a beautiful and heartfelt story. I read it a few months back and have been putting off writing this review… not because I didn’t like it, but because I absolutely adored it and wasn’t sure anything I said would be good enough.

I completely devoured it, it was such a nice, easy read to fly through. That is, until her sister and brother in law are involved in a tragic accident and she finds herself having to look after her moody teenage niece and mischievous toddler nephew. It's a story packed with emotion.

The story kicks off straight away, within the first chapter the plot is set and it’s a mix of emotions from then on! It was just fantastic. Sarah Turner deals with some really hard hitting themes and issues in this book, but she writes it beautifully and I found myself wishing nothing but happiness for Beth. ).

The story had me laughing & crying while reading, the conclusion to the story was absolutely perfect but I was so sad to be at the end of the book as I enjoyed it so much I wanted it to keep going. I started it as a buddy read but I’d accidentally read the whole thing witching 48 hours 🙃So we’ll start with the fact that is was written so well! ! And desperately wishing for a sequel!

We all know that one person that still lives at home and has like no responsibility, stays in bed curing hangovers, not knowing how to use an oven - heck and sometimes this makes us a tad jealous when were running around after our kids and pets and holding down a job whilst cleaning and shopping and all he the rest of it! A proper rollercoaster of a book that had me flipping the pages right until the end.
