A friend who knows about Fujifilm told me that it was best to use the original batteries, so I bought 3 original batteries and the original charger recommended by Fujifilm, and now I am very happy with its use, neither the battery nor the camera heats up. Additionally, these batteries come with a protective bag, ideal for transporting them.

Aftermarket batteries can’t take that much of load and discharge quickly . In addition, the original batteries are even slightly concave on one side to give an eventual expansion still air. It charged in 2 to 3 hours but was never tepid to touch either on camera or USB unlike the 2 batteries supplied with charger. Also, my first original Fujifilm battery does not have any noticeable loss of capacity.

I purchased my camera and the seller gave me several generic batteries, some unbranded and others from the neewer brand. With my first Fuji camera I still thought I would save some money and buy me a 3rd party battery.

I now have 2 cameras from Fuji, both with a new price of over 1000 euros. Overall battery is good to have , it will last long and will not bulge after 3-4 month like an after market batteries .
