If you switch it in front of the blocker, it measures a current of 0 amps. Only data is transferred to Raspberry Pi. When switched behind the blocker, the ammeter no longer receives enough energy to function, connected devices remained off.

Quick delivery the next day. I bought this power blocker so that I could connect a Raspberry Pi to my 3D printer without a double power supply having a negative effect on the printer's mainboard.

The data transfer continues to work, I was able to successfully run Klipper on my RasPi and SV06 3D printer. The smartphone is connected to the Raspberry Pi via USB tethering and via a Y adapter with 2x USB plug, I can use any power source to the red USB plug and the Raspberry Pi is relieved, as the smartphone absolutely needs a power supply to also transfer data via USB. I'm very happy with it!

The printer stays off when I turn it off (otherwise the display and some of the software on the printer are still supplied with power) and various disconnections are a thing of the past. Raspberry Pi is relieved and the voltage remains stable there. Using one of these on the Creality Sonic Pad.
