On a Saturday is odd enough, but then strange things start to happen, starting with the mysterious disappearance of Mr Canton. Adults will love it too.

I was instantly hooked from page one and I couldn’t get through the pages fast enough to see what would happen next. There are great chapter headings in the proof copy I got too which I’ve shown a picture of above.

Upper KS2 / KS3 pupils will love, and an ideal book for reluctant readers. I like Angelo’s character from the start, as well as some of the others. I like how this book kept me glued to its pages, I just couldn’t put it down.

I really enjoyed getting to know all four of the students and I loved seeing them slowly open up to each other and become friends. With this new read the author has done it again. Jennifer Killick always effortlessly nails the blending of horror and humour. The StoryFour student’s lives are turned upside down after being forced to come to school on a Saturday for a detention at Dread Wood High School.

Spine-tingling, rib-tickling stuff. -Thanks to Farshore for a free copy for review. Very gripping and at times full of suspense it is a great read for children of 8 years and upwards . No one does creepy/funny like Jennifer Killick.
