They even help to keep the ocean clean by clearing up all the rubbish! The illustrations in the story are gorgeous and Lark is such a loveable character. A lovely story about the importance of taking your rubbish home, to keep our seas glittering! Lark the Shark begins with a teacher educating about the dangers of sharks, which Lark overhears… and he isn’t so happy about it!

💙💙Brilliant read which could be used at home or in a school setting to educate and promote discussion about littering and recycling! He sets out to show people that sharks can be fun, friendly and helpful creatures. This will definitely become a favourite bedtime story in our house! You see, Lark is a friendly shark and he wants to inform everyone about the dangers of litter!

My son absolutely loves this book! Bright and interesting enough to keep my 2Yr old still for 5 mins! As well as being fun to read aloud Lark the friendly Shark helps to teach children about being kind and caring to everyone, despite their appearance! This is a humorous rhyming story about an adorable friendly shark called 'Lark the Shark.
It would also be a great addition to an under the sea topic/environmental topic in schools. 'A man is teaching his students about how dangerous and scary sharks are but when Lark hears this it makes him sad. It also reinforces how important it is to care for our environment and keep our oceans clean and free from rubbish/pollution. Can't wait to read whatever Natalie brings out next 😊
