lots of wear and damage throughout, most notably in 2 missing items (a letter and some sort of magical sample). . She still reads it nightly and discovers new things!

I highly recommend this book for children and adults! Bought this for my 8 year old nephews birthday. Maybe because I was obsessed with Dragonology when I was around 10 years old (over 10 years ago now haha) but I found this book a lot less in depth/interesting since it mostly just mentions creatures diets and habitats, not so much behaviour.

This book is absolutely amazing. It was okay, I think this would be good to introduce different kinds of mythical creatures to kids who could read elsewhere for more information. I got this used and it shows. It is filled with many “facts”, fun little details, pictures and even object to feel.
