Rollercoaster of laughs, energetically written with some cheeky humorous moments and cute characters with big personalities. You bet. If you want to get a kid to love reading, or if you just want to hear them laugh, you can’t go wrong by buying Charlie Changes into a Chicken.

We can't wait for the next instalment! Except he doesn’t. So funny your child laughed so much they did a little bit of wee in their pyjama bottoms. He changes into a chicken.

It’s a great family read aloud—who doesn’t love an opportunity to put on a ridiculous French-pigeon accent? —and is truly very funny.

Charlie does what now? ) with excellent illustrations too - highly recommend!

Definitely. He has managed to do all this within a plot involving a toilet-snake, a sad potato and a shaved monkey. Author, Sam Copeland, has managed to tap into important issues kids face and, with a lightness of touch, show ways in which they can cope with them.
