The design is sleek and I love how there is a magnet on the base which allows me to stick it to my frig. The app that one needs to download was simple and made it very easy to get started with the thermometer.

The battery life takes a hit due to shrinking the size down but it is still a very respectable 7 hours. I have absolutely nothing negative to say against it, it's the best thermometer I could have hoped for. But if it is 500, you should probably be taking it out at 120 (target 135). I loved the "full sized" Meatsick 4 for smoking larger pieces of meat such as brisket, ribs, boston butt, etc.

Customer Service: great response time, usually same day or by the next day. Also, I understand why you need to have more permissions on the app, but try to start reducing the number of permissions and battery usage on the app. Its quad-sensor ability is really useful since it gives you a better idea of the temperature at multiple points.
