As close to the dryer as possible 2. Previous criticism for incorrect assembly: Unfortunately inappropriate to prevent washing machine waste water from being pushed into the dryer. flawless. A small amount of wastewater finds its way through the valve, as it does not have a spring that permanently seals the valve against the pump of the washing machine (see picture).

Connected an 11mm tube with an internal dimension of 8mm and the connection was secure and added clips provided peace of mind. Background: If there is still air in the hose/valve, the valve closes with a delay and the waste water from the washing machine slowly but surely pushes through the valve. I made these mistakes during the first assembly (see critique at the bottom).

Hose clamps also fit perfectly. First time connection, no leaks. Install the valve 1.

Delivered, installed directly, tested and everything was great. Only a non-return valve with a spring helps. After assembly, first let the dryer run through completely with wet laundry.

Once the valve and hose have filled up with the very clean water from the dryer, this clean water will close the valve when the washing machine pumps out.
