I've seen lots of reviewers saying it doesn't work for them, and maybe it's dependent on how the cats are, but it has worked for us. First week no change then we noticed the kitten seemed less antagonistic. We took it slow and kept them apart at first but each time the kitten was around our older cat would hiss and growl then run away.

A couple days later, this feliway friends arrived and we plugged it in straight away. Today we looked in the spare bedroom and found this ( photo ) hopefully this is not just a fluke and harmony will continue. So I have reordered.

However, with the vets bills at £150-200 a time I thought it was worth a punt if it helped. I found the two that don’t get on sleeping next to each other - not curled up, but very close. Cat 1 I'm convinced will make friends with anything but cat 2 is deaf and leads a solitary life of watching from a distance and can be nasty to cat 1 when he tries to get near her. But wow wow wow I'm amazed after just over 48hrs how much they have changed and are more accepting of one another!

:) Please don’t judge me - I know cats shouldn’t be on tables but we wiped it down with anti bacterial spray. They haven't peed anywhere that they aren't supposed to and when one did yesterday, I realised the unit needed to be refilled. The packaging was all in tact and neatly packed.

My cat who loves being outdoors has taken to sleeping under the plug in. Infact she is probably the most highly strung cat I've ever had. The cat in question seems to gets on well with the other two but he was a rescue abandoned by his mother when tiny and he is generally an extremely timid scaredy-cat who often won’t come near us.
