Having bought the "S" model first I soon realised that the larger 3mm fork would not fit in the bracelet gaps on many of my steel watch bracelets and I decided to buy the "F" model too! These tools should last a long time for occasional home use if used as intended. The 6767-f has a fork end of about 1. 5mm and the 6767-s has a fork end of 3mm.
Both models have a 1mm bar end tool that is hollowed at the tip for use on watches with drilled lugs and adjustment of bracelet clasps. Both models are strong, well made and have a good weight when held. I don't believe that the tools are designed for the removal of metal bar links to shorten a bracelet, for that I'd recommend a dedicated watch pin removal tool. High quality, machined springbar tools, for the removal and fitting of watchstraps and metal watch bracelets.
Each model has screw-in replacement ends that do come loose if not tightened sufficiently. Spare screw-in replacement tips are available from Bergeon.
