Battery had finally run out. It was easy to set up, test etc. This product is small and unobtrusive.

The unit beeps to let you know when it’s running low and in need of replacing. The only negative is that as it’s a sealed unit you cannot replace the battery and therefore need to purchase a new unit but I guess a 10yr lifespan for anything these days is acceptable. As just purchased cannot comment on longevity - it does however promise to work for ten years before needing changing.

This is the 2nd unit I’ve purchased and the battery lifespan did work out to around 10yrs. I’ve got a woodburner and for safety reasons it’s important to have a monitor to alert of any carbon monoxide issues.
We have placed it on its stand on a cupboard. Bought this to replace the same alarm I had fitted about 8 years ago (needed for a wood burner). Fitted the old bracket perfectly, so they haven't changed the mount. Very happy!
