Mine did have powder on it when it arrived and I washed it off with soap and water and after every use and have not put any on it since I've got it and seems to feel just as good as when I got it. The feel of the dildo is so soft and easy to work with and gives the right amount of bend for it being a bigger toy. The thinner head really helps ease it in there just like I wanted.
