perfect for little hands, can be used in multiple ways: water play, other sensory activities, or added to everyday play and explorations. The same with the seam around the middle. I saved that for when he's a bit older.

The horse and cow accompany us on all errands and usually bedtime. A farm animal love has blossomed, we now have to stop and observe any we see, luckily we share a fence with one.

it's not super noticeable and we don't care. I think these are great, my son still plays with them DAILY and I love how it came with a Fact Sheet with random facts about each animal. They are proportionally correct - horse to cow, cow to goat, sheep to pig, etc. I've read some complaints about the paint job - eh, it's not 100% perfect in some spots, but you really have to look for it and I just don't care about that, neither does my toddler.

We've had these for about 4 months and my 2 year old still LOVES them! Large size also I highly recommend these animals and will be purchasing the zoo set for his upcoming birthday.

And yes, there is an strong "new" odor when you first open the bag, but it goes away quickly, and most new plastic toys fresh out of the bag have some sort of odor. Over 2 months later, he's still playing with these every day (something to brag about with toddlers).
